Mike Holloway Builder has been operating in Hamilton since 1987, during the next 10 to 15 years Mike built new homes and did house renovations. Over that time Mike realized that Renovations was where his real passion lay, they are much more complex than building a new home and much more challenging. Mike thrives on the challenge of renovations and has been kept very busy over the years. It took him a number of years though, to be able to trust having another Carpenter working with him as he is very particular and demands a very high standard at all times.

Mike Holloway Builders Ltd was established in 2009.

The LPB scheme was introduced by the Dept of Building and Housing to improve standards across the building industry. Mike Holloway joined the scheme in March 2011.

Stringent entry requirements for licencing and the commitment to on going professional development means the general public can have confidence that Licenced Building Practitioners working on their homes and buildings are competent and have a clear understanding of industry changes as they happen.

Mike and Dianne have been married for 23 years and have raised two children in and around Hamilton. They have renovated 5 homes of their own over that time and spent several years on a life style block, in Tekowhai, while the children were young. They built their own holiday home in Whitianga and have spent many summers there fishing and diving and enjoying the beach.

We have a very happy team who work really well together. They always encourage each other and are very enthusiastic about their work. They are always striving for the highest quality and to be the very best.

The Team will always be reliable, punctual, have intergrity, be clean and tidy, respectful (of our clients and the fact that they are working in their home), honest, excellent trade practices.

The Team are problem solvers and have the “can do” attitude. The motto is “do it once, do it right”!!!!
